Any recommendations for downloading/ripping the content of a site?
I have a limited time access to a database and need to save the data.

What do you mean "I have a limited time access to a database?" If you have access to a database then you can save the data using whatever database management tool you have.
On the other hand if you're trying to save/archive an entire site via browser there are plenty of programs that will do that. If you're on a Mac Site Sucker works pretty well.
