How do I save texts on an Iphone?
I have a Nokia phone from 1998. This is for a friend!

Nokia my friend Nokia. The Iphone is from our time.

I was just saying I am trying to figure out how to save these texts for a friend. I personally do not own an Iphone. My friend does own an Iphone.

You spelt iPhone wrong. Not Iphone. But that might be understandable since I am gathering that you are a time traveller from 1998 and aren't familiar with current technology.
- BTW... Google makes a phone too. Take that back to 1998 and melt your people's heads.hellrod

Maybe just rewrite them on a notepad in a journal and make it into a best selling book.
- no, better to blog it. or tweet it. yes, tweet it one entry at a time.bigtrickagain

This thread makes no sense. Maybe I can help you rephrase?
Here are your options:
1. How do i save text messages currently stored on my nokia phone to my iPhone?
2. How do I transfer text messages from my nokia to my friend's iPhone.
3. How do I save messages on my iPhone from being deleted.
4. ???
- Did everyone ignore his last line that says this is for a friend?FredMcWoozy

Okay okay.
Save them elsewhere. Not on the Iphone. The threads above are on the right track - unfortunately I already looked into them and they involve jail breaking the phone or cost money - "jail breaking" the phone is a no no, it is a work phone!

this is obviously a long conversation that you are talking about...otherwise copy and paste would work

do you need to access them on your nokia.
if you just need a text saved out you can do this a couple of waysgo into the message click edit. top right corner
select all the messages you want to save
click forward it will put them in a new textfrom there you can copy paste into an email or send the message
roundabout but what isnt when dealing with that thing

How about using Dropbox app and just saving files to Dropbox to access from the iPhone (files can also be saved locally on the iPhone if you select them as Dropbox favorites)
