  Neh. The battlefield series has always been a bit subpar in my experience. While this certainly *looks* the part they always seem to be lacking some key gameplay experience that really locks you into the game.

  downloaded the demo yesterday, 1st thought was I hated it, even tho I loved the first, its because I got so used the the quake-a-thon thats COD instant action.

  After the 4th game I got used to the map, guns (not being so accurate) and the game pace which is much slower, yet still a good multiplayer game, shame it will never be as popular as COD because anyone can pickup MW2 and half a half decent game, where as BC2 you really need a good team.

  Halo Reach and Gears of War 3 are the only games worth waiting for.

  I've been playing MAG lately and I have to say I like it better than Bad Company. I have BC1 and have played plenty of the BC2 beta. BC does vehicles and buildings better, but the shooting mechanic and overall progression of a match is much better in MAG.
  It has huge maps that can feel like seriously frantic warzones and smaller, team-based arenas over the course of a match. It has much more rewarding non-combat classes; medic and engineer classes will get you plenty of XP and are really crucial to the team's success in MAG.
  The one drawback of MAG is that it is a slow burn. It does a pretty terrible job of showing you how great a game is until you've spent 5-8 hours playing it. I've never had a more rewarding experience playing a shooter online, not even MW2. Once you gain the ability to apply for a leadership position in a match, you start to see just how strategic the game can be.... or you can just run around and shoot stuff and have fun that way too.

  MAG may not look or sound pretty, but it'll reward you if you invest some time in it.

  I am still waiting for a good Battlefield 2 port or Battlefield 3 , the PC game still ranks up there in my book , I liked all the fractions (China, Russia, M.E.C , Marines , EU , SAS , Insurgents, etc .. )

  well with all the hackers on xbox MW2 I think ill be playing this game, last night was really bad, non stop care packages

  • cant stand that glitch, cant wait for them to send out a fix– rock&roll1/4

    Even though there are tons of people using that glitch, I have found most that do tend to suck overall, with their team losing in the end regardless– duckseason2/4

  I picked up this game a few days ago.
  the single player story line is shit but the multiplayer is tons-o-fun..
  i haven't stayed up past 1am playing video games in years and i found myself doing this last night.

  at first i hated this game but after an hour or so (more like 4) and a re-wiring from MW2. its a blast! .. you simply cant play this game like mw2. there are a lot more elements to consider then the frag fest that is mw2.
