I have a Canon i9950 and I was wondering if there was any cost effective way to print wirelessly from my Mac?
I have seen Canon's Wireless Print Server WP-20 which seems a little excessive (£139). Could you not use bluetooth?

if you have another computer and a wireless router you can share the printer over the network

But then I would have to have the other printer on all the time yeah?

the other computer would need to be on so the printer was visible over the network - mine is usually suspended or in sleep mode, but can be awaken over the network.

i have a canon wireless printer. my notebook is wireless and prints and my old mac G5 is not wireless, but is connected to my wireless router and also prints. i print rarely, but when i do, i love that i can print wirelessly.
this probably hasn't helped.
thank you for your time.

What Printer is it Invalid?
I have a feeling I would need to get the print Server or Airport Extreme. There is no Bluetooth device I can find...
Oh well. Thanks anyway.

i use my apple airport base station.
i think you could use the airport express, which is much cheaper $99 usd.
pretty darn easy to setup as well.

you could get a wired print server and connect it to a port on your router, there's a d-link one that's pretty cheap.
