  Reminds me of the time I went to Hong Kong and an american tourist asked if the hotel receptionist if there was any chinese food places around to eat.

  i stayed in this one when i was in melbourne a couple of months ago, loved it. really nicely decorated, good location in st kilda. definitely the best hotel i stayed at in oz.

  The Adelphi Hotel in Flinders lane is nice plus the swimming pool on the roof hangs over the street below! Dont think its cheap though more boutique!

  Also the hotel at the prince in StKilda is a nice hotel but again depends how much you want to spend
