The medals are beautiful.
It's easy to be angry about the appropriation of First Nations and Inuit design in the 2010 games, but at the same time it's long overdue that Canadians be able to identify with that part of our shared culture.

No ones 'angry' about native art being used. In fact most people love it. It's just that the inukshuk is kind of odd , since they are none in B.C.
Using Haida art would've been a much better choice for the logo.

Plus there are TONS of Haida artists in the lower mainland. It would've been a much better representation of what tourists are actually going to be seeing when they visit.

In addition, the Olympic Village came in $100 million over budget and had to be bailed out by the city.
