"How to be a graphic designer without losing your soul" is also a book on freelancing, so I'd say yes.

^ +100. I've got this book as well as the Shaughnessy's book. Both are good, but in terms of useful, practical steps to running and promoting a design business, The Designer's Guide wins.

I've found "How to be a graphic designer w/out losing your soul" book to be less practical in terms of everyday business practices. It does however offer some decent insight into client psychology.
