which would you rather have the Sanyo Incognito or the bb curve 8350i. I have to pick one for the $50 unlimited boos(t) plan.
im leaning twoards the curve because it has a track ball which makes the web browsing look better. but the Sanyo is nice cause its small

I have heard that the curve sucks ass and breaks all the time.

I have a friend who hates her BB curve...

It's the trackball that bites the big one, I've had a curve and now have a bold, and had the same issue with both. In fact I reckon I returned my Curve and got a new one as a replacement 3 times. If you could see your way to a newer model with the trackpad instead i'd say go for a blackberry because the contacts, email and calendar are excellent, but if they're your only 2 choices I might lean towards the Sanyo (depending on what OS it's running), but I've never read a review. They look alright, but you gotta wonder about the battery drain on powering 2 screens...

surprised the fanboys haven't told you to dump your provider and get an iphone and then dance around a bit.

Get an iphone! Now!

I hear Apple make quite a nice phone, you might not have heard of it though – it's not very common.

do blackberries and other smartphones have any apps at all? obviously not as much as the iphone.. but is there a substantial amount at all? Cos that's what I'm interested in.. the ability to get those very specific applications. It's only going to be more and more people learning how to make them, so soon you'll be able to do anything you want.

once your trackball falls out of those blackberries, which happens often... your rim is screwed

windows mobile has wayyyy more apps than the iphone, but then again its been around for years! theyre just not organised into an appstore, microsoft is working on that for windows 7 (which wont support older apps) so my advice is either get a 3gs or htc hd2 or wait for the sony xperia x10 next month
- There are 100,000 apps for windows mobile? I doubt it.monospaced
- if it wont support older apps wont there be 0 apps?BIGGESTDOGINTHEWORLD

i had a curve before my iPhone. I liked it for everything but the web. Nice keyboard. Email worked. Decent phone. Never had any problems with the trackball and I had it for two years.

get an iPhone for fuck sake, there is a very good reason barely anyone outside of business used smart phones till that came along. The reason being they were all and still are shit.

I've got a bb curve. Tough as old boots and does a good job with email accounts. The camera's really good. But that's about it. The apps are crap. Syncing is crap.

Just pick the one that has the games you most want to play while moving your bowels.

been testing the bb curve 8350 and 9630 here all week and both are horrid experiences. also the htc touch pro 2 and snap... both are god awful. i'm testing a new samsung phone as well and it's a downright joke. can't anyone make a decent ui for a cell phone other than apple?
we had a few droids last week and they were absolute shit.
i don't know what to tell you. an iphone is really the best option right now for a smart, usable smartphone. you act and it reacts exactly as you would expect it.

My curve has been pretty good. Awesome Battery power, great for email and as strong as a horse. Get an 8 Gig Micro SD card if you want to fill it up with MP3s. Oh, Browsing the web sucks.
