  I've been tempted by these also, but the high iso performance on them still isn't the greatest, and they're not really all that small. For half the price you can get a small / entry level slr with a prime lens.
  Also, the panasonic 20mm f/1.7 doesn't give you really shallow DOF because the micro 4/3rds sensor is pretty small.
