Maybe just reintroducing the concept of movies that focus on decent story/script and inspired acting would be nice. I'm not really big on movies, though, honestly.

clearly all original ideas have been done i guess. i'd like to see new films, not uninspired rehash.

Not necessarily. While my idea is really a total reboot inside and out, I'd argue that "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" is very much remembered in the pop conciousness and carries a certain "brand equity" if you will. Therefore, "Breakin' 3" might carry a certain level of anticipation and audience excitement/amusement rather than just a straight "Breakin'."

Wouldnt a reboot mean that you would start all over again - with Breakin 1 (the beginning, first chapeter, aka the breakin begins)?

One of my goals in life is to purchase the rights to the "Breakin'" movies and reboot the franchise. Look for "Breakin' 3 - The Dylectical Synergy" sometime in the next ten years. I'm totally serious.

Perhaps, next time, search for the more commonly referred-to with movies term 'remake'?
- Perhaps! ;) That thread was 5 years ago!! Time for a reboot of the remakes!inv
