    cmnd+return=quick apply.
a few extra clicks yes, but if you have your style sheets memorized...

    • This is exactly what I am not looking for (I know about quick apply), but thanks...dog_opus

This is on the thing Quark was good for; not being forced to let your mouse to apply styles.
A solution for this would also make me happy.

What I don't understand is what this has to do a Mac keyboard, or a non-numeric keypad at all. Because you don't have a numeric keypad you can't use the shortcuts? You still have numbers!

    • Yes, because I don't have a numeric keyboard, I cannot use paragraph style keyboard shortcuts.dog_opus1/4
number keys are different than keypad numbers. which is why they are the default when applying styles in IDjaylarson2/4

poked around in keyboard shortcuts. you're screwed. sorry you're the guinea pig, but more evidence that there can be something too minimal. sorry.

    • Too minimal indeed. Extremely thoughtless and dumb (and long ongoing) move on the part of Apple.dog_opus

    I've wondered this myself.

As a previous poster said, you could do quick apply, but I never did get used to that and/or like it... and any combination of the function key, option key or whatever didn't work. Not much help, but I'm commiserating a bit – and it's nice to know you're not crazy sometimes.
