Hi all,
I'm looking for some inspiration for a HTML mailer. Have you seen any that aren't the stock-standard campaign monitor template-esq designs? anything unique?
Thanks guys!

theyre stock, standard and templated for a reason dude! 600px wide is the max u can go!
check campaignmonitor for some good examples you know will work
- thanks mate, was just wondering whether anyone has seen any exceptional examples of non-templated designsNot_Just_Another

lomo usually send out decent ones, designed pretty well. Though I haven't opened one in about a year.

Due to the limitations in HTML mailers (width, no background images, etc) it is hard to find any that don't look like all the others. Your best bet is to be the first one to create the non-templated design. Look elsewhere for inspiration-outdoors, print mags, photographs.

Thanks guys, will have to keep looking for inspiration. I've had to do mailers before and I'm aware of those limitations that seem to keep growing with each iteration of Office! ah well.

@stugo the sale in the city one is really great loving the way the diagonals pull you down the mailshot ... good work!

"600px wide is the max u can go!"
this is actually wrong, you can go wider but your audience might not realise your email is wider.
campaignmonitor has good info on it.
i was doing some reading about sizes a few months ago. theres an american clothing? company who have done some stupid wide emails that have been very successful.
the content that went far out to the right was just photos so obv wasnt important content, just extra stuff for those with the brains to scroll to the right.
