  I know its old but I just picked up Red Dead Redemption. Been playing bits at a time over the weekend.

  I saw Indie Game -The Movie at Hotdocs and decided I'd write a little review about it before everyone has seen it...

  I really think anyone into design, digital art etc should check it out. Its not like the Objectified of video game documentaries or anything, which is sort of what I thought it might be. More about their personal stories, really funny too. Lots of video game stuff of coarse which is good.

  Dark Souls kicked my ass. After three weeks, I officially gave up and sold my copy. This game recuires a lot of patience and time and if you're not a hardcore gamer it's a rather frustrating experience. Really loved the dark, gothic atmosphere though, and I understand there's a market for this kind of games... It's just not for me.

  Been running around in Skyrim for the past week, chasing butterflies and killing dragons... Loving it.

  I don't know what the hell Nintendo is thinking. I liked the Wii, though it was the first Nintendo I didn't buy (though mostly because I no longer play games – maybe a few hours a *year*). The Wii U looks like a major misstep. The Wii captured a huge "casual" and non-gamer demographic; I see this costing them the latter.
