    Hi.

I'm currently putting together a side-project for my boss that involves packaging a CD in a Vintage 1940s veneer. The visuals are in place, I just need to adapt them to an as-yet-to-be-found package.

Does anyone know where or how I can find vintage-looking manilla envelopes that would be good to package a CD? Or, just good old manilla-type material. I'm not, of course, referring to the plethora of manilla products available at Staples etc. But, non-marked, string tied stuff would be great. I'm also in need of office paper that would suggest this period too.

    Thanks!

    Tim. (Clueless).

get new paper and stick it in the oven (low heat) to simulate aging?

Thanks for that suggestion, but it's out of the ballpark. I think I'm being a bit too vague.

I guess my question is "Where can I purchase vintage-looking manilla type envelopes, of varying sizes, that would ideally have string-tied clasps?" Obviously, a square CD envelope probably didn't exist in 1946; also, I'm aware of inter-office stuff available at your local Staples that has string-tied clasps, but these usually have stuff written on them and is limited to "letter" size.

    Any ideas? Thanks again.
