  I wish fresh produce was cheaper. Whenever I want to eat my veggies and cook a nice meal, which I do very often, I am always shocked at how much it costs me. I sincerely believe that Americans could change their eating habits if good food cost less. It seems that the premiums are now applied to organic and fresh qualities and that packaged/corn-based foods are getting cheap. Just my two cents.

    yeah. i head of lettuce is like a buck. Frozen veggies are quite cheap as well.– baseline_shift3/4

    In NYC it's a whole different story. And fancier veggies, and a lot of fruits, get up there compared to CA.– monospaced4/4
