Anyone see it? Wondering if it's worth a blind buy. I love war modern movies like Black Hawk Down, Three Kings, etc...
The bluray is $25 on amazon.

Very fine film. More than just a 'war film.' If you got 25 bones to blow on a flick, there's one to blow it on.
- I can spend it easily, I just dont like buying movies that arent worth multiple views.CygnusZero4

Yes, very, very tense movie.
The cinematography is great.
At no point in the movie do you catch yourself thinking, hey a career in the armed forces is glamourous and free of risk or mental consequence...

Alright I guess ill order it. I could netflix it but the problem is I still have 2 movies out, so I probably wont get it for a week or even longer if it becomes unavailable which always happens with BD movies.

I've got it coming from Amazon tomorrow on a blind purchase. Really looking forward to seeing it!

Very good movie, despite the Point Break-esque ending.
- Love that movie.CygnusZero4
- Agreed. I'd say the ending is three scenes too long. Should have ended in the supermarket.pylon

I'd say it's more of a rental than a purchase... and I have to argue against the cinematography. Some scenes are spectularly well down.. while others have that incredible "seen-it-a-thousand-times" gimmicky camera shaking nonsense going on.
- I reckon it works given the subject matter and docu-drama style.pylon
