the misfits in richmond virginia in '97. still remember how perplexed i was when someone intentionally knocked me down, then lifted me up on my feet, brushed me off and patted me on the back.

The second Lollapolooza tour is the first one I remember going to. Tribe Called Quest, The Breeders, Boredoms, George Clinton, Smashing Pumpkins & Beastie Boys. Flaming Lips were there but played on the second stage, no one knew who they were at the time.

    December 6, 1974
George Harrison, Maple Leaf Gardens, me and The Girl

Bob Dylan came and checked out the set, for about three minutes, him and the most enormous bodyguard I've ever seen - big enough that anyone approaching Dylan got The Stare and they just faded away. Billy Preston was part of Harrison's touring band and played "Will It Go Round In Circles" facing the cheap seats (us, in other words); it was a nice gesture.

Erm, Cliff Richard on his Wired for Sound tour - early Eighties. Not my choice, my dad dragged me along. My first gig were I actually wanted to go was

    http://www.morain.de/Poster_-_Milton_Keynes_-_28.06.1986_4.jpg
