Worst Adobe product ever. Runs fine on my Mac, but needed to install it at work for a project and the thing is buggy as hell (and this is the latest build just DLed the other day). In fact, it just crashed on me while I was writing this.

Old news I know but I'm amazed they haven't fixed some of these issues by now.

They will repackage previous half solved problems with the same amount of bugs and unfinished ideas with added mobile support in few months and they will call it flash cs5.
And we will start using it as we did with flash cs4.

@WeLoveNoise:
like the crashing issue! oh and also the motion editor is the biggest waste of programming ever to grace an adobe product. don't get me started on the crappy IDE for writing scripts.. and also.. not sure if anyone else has these issues, but I get so much crap on my swfs when publishing in flash that I have to preview my work in an html page or the flash player app.
- you forgot to mention the wonderful bones systemAutokern

I think it depends on your setup/ computer. Running on OSX at home I didn't experience any issues, albeit without seeing much UI improvement.
But on Windows it's a f*cking nightmare. For instance, I can't get the Instance Name field for dynamic text to show up AT ALL, so I'm having to work around that. Granted, it may have to do with certain CS3 apps being installed on this machine - but still! They should be able to fix that shit.

Since I upgraded to super-secret version 10.0.0.544, things have worked great for me.

I had so many problems with it on OSX I completely gave up and use CS3. I would put a linkage on a movie clip, go back to it and the base class field would be blank. That was the final straw.

Supposedly CS5 is out soon, so hopefully they patched up a lot of this. It's a bit mystifying when a company rewrites their code and sees almost no improvement in the form of greater speed/ stability/ usability, in fact going in the opposite direction.
P.S. who's bright idea was it to make the "Z" key trigger the bones tool instead of zoom? Years of mental conditioning down the drain...;)
- Sounds like it's time for a custom keystroke. I think I read CS5 was due in April.CyBrain
