How would you go about creating this type of pixel perfect grid texture as you can see overlayed on the background on this site...

Ive had a shot a couple diff ways but doesnt look as nice, was interested to hear how you think they went about it here?

Looks like a pretty straightforward pattern with every other pixel in black and a little bit transparent.

yea you're right - just wondered if there's an easy way to quickly create these kinda bitmap pixel grids in PS or similar without creating them manually, ill get it though ..cheers man

Make a 2x2 pixel image with a black pixel top left. Then edit > define pattern.
Then you can fill an image with that using edit > fill > pattern.

on it, dont know why i didnt think of above suggestions as have used define pattern before!
