I was just about to ask the same question. Ive recently started using suitcase for wins and been having a lot of problems. Fonts disappear at random and it runs really slowly. Im not sure if I havent set up properly or whether its just a turkey as ive not used any font management software before

just weighing in for Suitcase Fusion2 on Mac...
I do not use the Vault, simply because I've always manually managed my font library and it's location (but I'm fussy like that, same with iTunes). I have a ridiculous amount of fonts loaded and it works beautifully for me. I don't think I've had one stall or crash in the past year since I switched from LinoX.
I'm sure there's some perks in allowing Suitcase to take over and setup the Vault. I'd agree would be interesting to hear if any is using it.
