What is the proper term for holding ones lens detached from the camera while taking pictures?
Thanks

"hold the lens"
"ill talk the picture"

out of focus

poor-mans macro would also work.

@monNom - yeah like that, but without holding it backwards... the intention is to get crazy light bleeds and strange focus.

@monNom not really what I was looking for, but thank you... =)
Maybe I'm just chasing a non existent term.

What do you mean exactly... are you shooting with a lens fixed on your camera, but shooting through a second lens that you hold in front of the affixed lens?
