Sounds like Billings 3 might be it.

yup Billings 3

I use Billings 3. It's OK. Downside is it's a total ass pain to try and design your own invoices and other forms. I just end up typesetting invoices by hand in InDesign. I only create invoices in Billings so the numbers square up. Clients never see them.

Freshbooks all the way http://bit.ly/3vFyge, amazing customer service and a great application which currently I'm running with http://fluidapp.com/ . Works a charm wherever you are, plus the iphone app is fantastic.

Take a look at Freshbooks; more of a straight-forward invoice and expense system rather than fully-fledged accounting system:

Do you work with an accountant? If so, it can be beneficial to use something that company is familiar with. So they can say things like, "end of quarter run this and that report. It's all we'll need."
Even more so if they want you to handle something differently and they can give precise directions on how your books should be.

we use quickbooks pro

We use Quickbooks Pro, too, but we also have PayCycle.com for payroll, quarterly filings and EOY taxes. Take a look, man. It's totally helpful and only $25/mo if you get it through an accountant w/ a reseller license.
