  It's pretty funny when the movie scene in Thailand is more exciting than the American one.

  No one in mainstream American cinema ever takes a chance any more. They already have to have a franchise in place before securing funds to blow shit up. It has sucked for a long time.

  Of course you get a few gems here and there but they are never widely distributed. Quentin Tarantino is the only one who gets wide distribution and all he is doing is ripping off Japanese/HK flicks any way.
