whereRI is right, Dell and HP power supplies never break...EVER. Their cables are also magic and NEVER get tangled. Apple is such a fucking shit company that makes cheap plastic crap. Hahahahha.
- I just can't understand why Apple can't get their hardware and design up to par with their competitorsmonospaced

i just mean couldnt they make some kinda stretchy cord thing or something like vacuum cleaners have? its like you get this beautiful product all slick n shiny and stuff and then have to untangle its life line everytime you take it out your bag
- k the vacuum cleaner is a broad idea here people.********
- I know, right? They're like 10 years behind on this shit. If I could I would use a Gateway adapter on my Mac because it's so much better.monospaced
- so much better designed, and it has a stretchy cord that never gets tangled. Oh, wait...monospaced
- got a stretchy cord that is impossible to untangle. And they have the best industrial designers there...oh, wait.monospaced
- yeah, cuz I want a power adapter that's as big as the computer because of the functional requirements needed to make the cord retract.Josev

ok fine. but what if the battery just never went flat huh monospaced huh? ha. stumped you there with my intellectual geniusnesess

It's incredible that Apple continues to sell power supplies that die when their competitors bundle power supplies, with their FAR superior laptops, that never die. In 100 years you will still be able to use the power supply from your Dell because it is essentially indestructible. HP power supplies will be able to jump start an internal combustion engine 200 years from now because those are fucking solid state.
Apple should definitely lower their prices and start selling stuff that is AT LEAST as good as their competitors. I mean, would it kill them to ditch the unibody aluminum computer cases in favor of some solid plastic? Oh, wait...

i gave my brother my 2 year old fuijitsi-siemens a couple of months back and the other day the adapter caught on fire. hows that for shitty power supply
- Lies! You could only be talking about a Macbook power adapter, because only those ones break. Just ask whereRI.monospaced

You have to plug a Macbook in?
- akrokdesign0
don't buy a new one from apple. i have bought two from this place and they got 3 years warranty on the product. i haven't had it that long yet, but this far it seams better.

I've never had a problem with mine. In fact, just the other day I was thinking, "Isn't it cool Apple hasn't had to change these?"
- akrokdesign0

ugh i had to replace my charger at least twice.. I am getting sick of it. they really need to fix it
- Nightshade0
I've never understood why there are two cords? Why the block isn't part of the socket, like an airport express, with one cord running to the Macbook. Is it a heat thing?
- monospaced0
@Nightshade, you have the option with Apple. The power supply comes with an extender that you can swap out for the sockets instead. Have you not figured that out?
