A VP chose not to hire me (against the rec of HR and the Creative Director) because I knew of an affair between them and the company CEO. Ideas? Legal implications?
- d_rek0
Discrimination? You'd need some evidence though.
Good luck and don't screw any more CEO's.

Well I think you should start by telling us the story about the affair, yea sounds like a reasonable place to start.
Start at the beginning and when you get to the end STOP.

yeah leave it alone. since you're talking about it on the internet; clearly you have no clue on the legal implications and more importantly consequences ...
- chrisRG0
lets make things easier to you... do not tell you your story, tell us "your friend" story about his bosses..

Human Resource is a waste of space

you went to KDU?
- raf0
The VP has power over your employment in that place and is not going to hire you. Period.
Legal implications: you are not employed there.
Ideas: twitter about their affair. Or better: QBN it.

Why do you even want to work in a place where you know someone don't wants you there.
WTF, are you just looking to make money out of this what you know about the CEO ?
- cannonball19780
what deathboy said.
- none of your goddamn business, and they don't "owe" you the job.cannonball1978

desire to work there went out the window when i saw who the veep was and what the situation was like. suggesting blackmail as my motive is a bit presumptuous. but i was curious to hear the opinions of other designers. it's just kindof a bummer that both the company and the candidate miss out on an opportunity.
- Presumtuous? You tied your job to the situation and mentioned legal implications.cannonball1978

People these days treat employment like it is a human right*, rather than an agreement between adults to do certain things at certain time and place for certain amount money.
