Whenever I want to find the best product or service, I use the word "sucks" with the search term. Anybody else tried this?
For instance, a search for weather.com sucks lead me to a blog, and one of the comments lead me to http://www.intellicast.com - which is great the graphs, the simplicity, it never asks me "Did you mean Kansas City, MO or Kansas City, KS or NY, ID, TX... "
Another example... thesaurus sucks ...because I hated pretty much ever online alternative, and this lead me, again, to a blog, which lead me to http://humanities.uchicago.edu/o… -awesome thesaurus
Anybody else tried this? anybody have any better google stuffs?

I often type 'search term + review' but yours is much more pinpointed. I will try it and make sure to share any findings here. I appreciate the tip!

Yepp, I do this all the time when evaluating new technologies in mye work. Save you a lot of time reading through all the bullshit fanboys write - especially for Microsoft products.

Yes - I use a similar technique but usually add the work "forum" as well, you are more likely to get real people ranting about it
