You, I've always been bothered by the fact that the air from a fan comes out buffeted

I like Dyson and his design ideas, anyone who goes out of his way to reinvent the Vacuum Cleaner industry only to be slapped in the face by every company he offered his design ideas to, and then has the balls to start his own company and beats the industry at there own game gets my vote.
The blade-free fan is great, why not, it look cool, and works better then any of the other fans on the market. Great idea.

Quite a lot it seems... 83,.000 hits to the teaser video page in 24hrs. Infact the dyson website is down at the moment. Still Spam is a fair comment although I have been a member of this site since 2003 and this is the only bit I have posted...

In answer to your original question "who cares?". This post is basically spam, and on top of that you're posting broken links to broken sites.

we don't need a ugly fan for goods sake.
we all like the classic fans:http://www.fantasticfans.com/ima…
dyson would be better spending their time on simple elegant solutions. such as these types of toilets in Japan:
you pee. you flush. you wash yours hands. you save water as it's the water used to fill the flush tank. simple, elegant, space saving. genius.

Dyson vacuums are ugly. I want to see a vacuum cleaner that has a wood finish, is a pleasant simple shape, is compact, easy to use, and fits into a modern elegant and minimalist interior.
dysons belong in a geeky alien film...
this looks like a food blender glued to a power drill handle glued to a toilet brush all made with cheap bright kids plastic! WTF! ugly.

Doesn't even swivel, tsk tsk.

Used the Airblade at SFO Airport the other week. Works like a charm.

I don't think they didn't invent that style of hand dryer. I used a mitsubishi one in tokyo. Works the same.
- you don't think they didn't invent it? so you believe they did invent it?version3

The Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer works in just 10 seconds. It uses sheets of purified air travelling at 400mph to literally scrape water from your hands like a windscreen wiper. It’s efficient too, using up to 80% less energy than a warm air hand dryer.
This is what they're looking at...
I used one the other day & It does what it says.

the first girl is definitely COTD material but even with a Bed Bath & Beyond 20% off coupon I passed on the $499 vacuum cleaner.
