None of them say photography and the colour choice is somewhat odd. The figure icon looks like a cliché sports club or social care type icon, it says nothing of photography. I think you need to work out whether you are selling her as 'Hayley', 'Proudfoot' or 'Photographer' and go from there. At the moment these lack any real personality for me, personally.
- Not that they 'need' to say photography directly, you could choose 'personality' as the key sell, or 'professional'raskolnikov
- But at the moment I'm left cold.raskolnikov
- dark purple = royal color.akrokdesign

definitly NOT:
#1 (overdone)
#7 (wtf)
#3 (humanitarian org?)
#4 (ripoff from belgian tv broadcaster CANVAS by whynot associates)maybe go with #6

Proudfoot is such a great name, it's hard to not let that lead. #1 however looks like it says 'Praidfoot'. I would suggest separating the 'o' and 'u'.

is for a photographer ?

Hi, yea it is for a photographer, raskolnikov yeah i agree with you there i think i need to choose which way to take it with the name, altho i agree with luckyophan i think proudfoot is the way forward rather than hayley or the full name. the colour was just a random thing not a final choice so dont worry bout that for now :) thanks

definitely go with proudfoot and the logo needs a photography feel...(start over)

you could do something cool with the double o's and a camera lens in Proudfoot.
- thats what I was thinking-- still keep it simple, but perhaps work with an image/hint of an image?katekelly

- I think the only letter that should connect are the double o's. It reads weird when the r is hookedFredMcWoozy
- i agreebaseline_shift
- yeah agree with fredjimzy
- the two OOs are the thingjimzy

Decrease the saturation of the purple so it isn't so bright and intense. I happen to be drawn toward your typographic treatment on 1, while the rest I feel like I've seen before. I personally don't think that there is a "photographer" look that needs to be followed, so being unique isn't an issue with me. I do agree that the type treatment is overdone and also recommend toning it down a little.

For instance, lose the f-t link, and create an f-o link like the r-o link instead. On a related note, bring the r and o closer a little to even out the kerning. Peace.

#2 but needs a lil more work
- instil_design0
- this is almost perfect. maybe a little of the other cross on the tdoesnotexist
- liveforever0
why are linking it ? doesnt work 2 and looks too forced.so sack that one off.
tighten the kerning between the o and t and seperate the 2 Os
then press delete and start again cos i think u could better.maybe ur trying to hard to modify type when really u should just pick the right type option
- j1983m0
looking at the latest one up there I see P / strange shape / U / D / strange shape / T (that looks lost on the end).
why not park this option. look at some different typefaces and work on some different directions.

I wouldn't connect the r_o, nor the f_o. Those spots will be too dark. What you could do is cut a diagonal off the arm of the 'r' and lower arm of the 'f' to give more room to the 'o's. If you continue that theme, you could adjust the legs of the 'u' and 'd' and cut the same angle there (this will also create some breathing space around both those glyphs 'bellies').
Then re-evaluate the top arm of the 'f'. I think it's too low, buit maybe cutting the lower arm will generate enough space for it. Otherwise I would take it up a bit.
You could also add a diagonally cut arm to the left side of the 't'.Because you have now freed the 'oo' from the 'f', you could use it as a sideways 8. So maybe play with something like 'F:1.8' or '28mm' (where the 8 is the oo in Proudfoot).
- just a thought
- btw, try Avenir Black, I think that will work nicely for youneverblink
- thanks neverblink ill try this font and what you have saidinstil_design

Don't connect anything but the oo, and maybe try to make the intersection same width as the rest of the stroke.
And yeah, photographer+Avant Garde is pretty overused.
What would a proud foot look like?- lol dont ask my girlfriend that question she will get a nail file out and some glittery nail varnish! lolinstil_design

uh, no angles
- u prefer the one further up?instil_design
