wtf?
can you redefine what you want to achieve? do you mean a link to a website? showing an actual live website in the email? what? i mean you could simply screengrab a webpage and use that as the sig?

no - just images to link to facebook/twitter etc. then the usual text address etc underneath.

ahh right.
the issue is html email vs standar email. you can create real issues with this as to get the images to link they have to have the wrapping html a code or is you want to include the images as image maps then they need all that attributing code. obviously if you use multiple images in the footer you would need a table containing them (as css positioning doesn't work in outlook 7).
as far as i know the safest method is to simply create a graphic with the images / icons / logos you want and then list the links underneath that. i could be wrong but outlook - especially since 2007's rendering engine is now word - is a pain in the arse to get anything decent happening.

depends on the email client of the person reading your email.... so yes, this can suck in various MS products...
Note also that Lotus CC mail and other corporate email systems may raise a "spam" alarm if you attach, rather than point to, an image...

I hear twitter was just a fad and it's over.
