Hello,
Which Nikon DSLRs offer the best quality for shooting video?
Do they shoot in full HD and include audio? Also, I currently have a Nikon D50 with a variety of lens, will they work?
Many Thanks!

Go get a HD Camcorder !!
go to www.dpreview.com and check for your self.
they offers side by side comparison as well.yes all your lens will work. but auto focus might not.

what i was trying to say was if you want to have video get a camcorder then, don't get dslr with video. at least not yet. from what i understand is that none of the dslr camera's video feature is fully developed. they all have focus that doesn't work properly. they can still take awesome video, don't get me wrong. it's just dslr is still primarily for still photos. HD video it's just something nice to have but you don't need it.

But you are probably right. For amature usage, a camcorder is probably best. Or you can wait for the Red Scarlet due later this year, wich is promised to be video first, then slr.

I am waiting for the D700x (or whatever it is called). I only care for a little video, so I would never buy a full camcorder and lug it around.
No full HD yet, not at the 5D MkII, although the D90 has 720p video (still good).
No idea about lesnes
