Was going to at work, but forgot when my appointment was and didn't show up. So I would have, but didn't.
Also love the paranoid people around here.

debunked by those that are selling the vaccine? What did you expect?

They had people here lining up overnight to get the shot, called the cops in when they ran out for the day to "disperse" the crowds, etc.

"...the virus would have a long way to go to match the roughly 36,000 deaths that seasonal influenza causes in the United States each year"
"Worldwide, the annual death toll from the flu is estimated to be between 250,000 and 500,000."
That's CNN.
"During a typical year in the United States, 30,000 to 50,000 persons die as a result of influenza viral infection. Frequently cited numbers are 20,000 deaths each year, and 37,000 annual deaths. About 5-10% of hospitalizations for influenza lead to fatal outcome in adults."
"The death rate from the pandemic H1N1 swine flu is likely lower than earlier estimates, an expert in infectious diseases said on Wednesday.
New estimates suggest that the death rate compares to a moderate year of seasonal influenza, said Dr Marc Lipsitch of Harvard University."
That's from Reuter's.
It should also be noted the the 'deaths' are complications, not a direct cause of the virus (in either case).

i suggest setting up roadblocks on all the bridges leading into manhattan. maybe bomb from above to be sure. if someone can gather up all the canned food ill work on attaching the chainsaws to the caravan.

I think the flu shot is a crock, and have never gotten it before... But for the sake of my best friend's 2 year-old, I got both the H1N1 I and the regular.
So, yes.

In the Southern Hemisphere, the winter flu season is now over. In spite of dire predictions, only 185 people died from swine flu in Australia – considerably fewer than the roughly 3,000 who succumb to seasonal influenza in that country each year.

I don't remember ever getting a flu shot or getting the flu in all my life, so why start now?

is the US still in a state of declared national emergency over this? because if you are, i dont think you are going to be given a choice.
State of National emergency gives ALL power to the Executive branch.
Obama is all powerful.
