Hi guys, thanks for the comments and fully appreciate where you're coming from. I kind of rushed it out because I wanted it done before my move to New York so I'll be tweaking the navigation once I get settled. It's off the back of that piece I wrote for Creative Review about making the viewer want to work harder; not just laying everything out and making people want to search further and explore so, maybe the concept is there but the execution is lacking. Bear with me.

you definitely succeeded in making the viewer work harder!

brilliant work and a highly original site. remarkable how innovation is so poorly received in the design community...

I personally love the idea of site. Something not as we used too.
Words (from my point of view) just need to slow when you "mouse over" one of picture. Or even everything needs to stop.It reminds me on Leo Burnett web site.
Nice work do.

innovation is great, when it actually achieves something other than irritation. i missed the keyboard instructions in the bottom left at first so just had to click whatever word i could see and then get about 3 seconds of the work before it flew of the screen.
and 3d cloud navigation is hardly innovative.

And that, Mr Skt, has to be the internet's biggest crime.

Also reminds me of the Leo Burnett site. Needs tweaking but I love seeing this from designers rather than the usual meat and two veg. Beautiful portfolio work as well.
Good luck in New York. Lucky sod!

i think a good addition would be the ability to pull the client names out of the cloud and into an ordered list allowing for a more traditional look at the work (with the words seamlessly animated within the 3d space to keep the sites look and feel). then the people that just want to see what you did for BMW can do so without chasing it about the screen.

I'd rather just see the work without having to work to see it. Your stuff is absolutely gorgeous, but I must say I preferred the previous version.

I think just making the instructions more prominent (maybe having them appear in the center of the screen when the site first loads) would improve the usability quite a bit.
