I'm currently working on a web design for a client that has previously used Eurostile in some of their marketing.
Eurostile doesn't do well in this case though, and I have the freedom to find a better typographic alternative.
What do you recommend in stead?

if you mean something that looks like Eurostyle but isn't you could try microgramma http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/urw…
If, however, you mean something that doesn't look like Eurostyle, then you might as well ask how long is a piece of string.

I guess I could have made that clearer. :)
I'm on the lookout for something that resembles the modern feeling of Eurostile, but hasn't got that "dot com" feeling to it.

Stimuli's suggestion is good. Eurostile is crap. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it in years.
