So it's cool to use full page flash again? I thought everyone was shifting towards full on HTML/Javascript sites? I assume SEO isn't an issue/necessity for HBO?
- seo proof flash websitesRavdyk
- how do you go about doing that?

Looks like it was designed 5 years ago too, full screen fucking flash site for something like this? FUCKING LOL nice job repeating MTV's mistake

I thought the old one was grand, didn't really see a problem with it. New one has big pics and seems easy to find stuff, though it does take a while to load. All in all, this one seems grand too.

What's wrong with doing a site completely in flash may I ask?. The only downside to doing a site in flash as far as I can tell is it won't work on phones, and folk that surf the web on their phones are pricks with no exception whatsoever.

Amazing how people are still bitching about Flash equals to no SEO whatsoever.
To me the site looks right for the kind of stuff they're doing: Video.
It looks like a tvguide thing and it works.
it has clunky transitions but that is no flex fault.
And i bet there is also a prick proof mobile version.- word up to thatrock&roll
- wasn't bitching, I didn't realise that Flash can now support reasonable SEO - good to know :-)Not_Just_Another
- flash SEO & back button = re-inventing browser features at great effort...can be done tho!vaxorcist

can you imagine trying to update all that 6 year old action-scrapped code?

Trust me, SEO is not a problem - and even if it were, think about HBO's subscriber model business.
