Alright QBN peoples,
I am counting on you to take a look at this website and let me know your thoughts on it before I release it to the world at large. Be nice, or mean, I can take it.
How can it be better?
What do you like/dislike?
Is it the dumbest thing you have ever seen?
I was thinking of adding some sort or rating system for each post. Good idea?
Its a simple photography showcase site that hopefully will fill a small niche. Thanks for your time.

Looks cool chief, this is great: http://www.color-noise.com/amand…

looks pretty good for a template....
- schjetne0
This is just a blog, right? You're not actually representing the photographers in any way? Do you inform the photographers before posting about them?
(Just curious about your flow, not in any way negative.)

ok so the thumbnails are loading in full sized images and resizing them, so it takes very long to load the first page. Bad idea.
Use scaled down images for thumbnails.

Took too long to load

Yeah that's cool, just wondering. I'd love to see more text to go with the entries, though, and if you made it clearer where you found the images and that the copyright belongs to the respective artists. Sorry, a bit precious about that stuff after finding my photos on a few blogs through the years with no source reference or anything.
On my Porn & Beauty (NSFW pornandbeauty.com NSFW) blog I try to write a bit about each piece or photographer, and at least link back to where I found the image.
I would be a bit weirded out if you posted a full gallery from my portfolio without me hearing about it.

i want to click on the photo to enter the full collection. i'd make both the name and the photo clickable.
- pango0
is it a trend to have that kind of layout and style? i've seen more and more now. www.momorobo.com/
but none the less i like it.

it looks like you just installed gridalicious and didn't do much to it.
you might try a little more customization to make your site a little less derivative-looking? gridalicious isn't uncommon. try messing with/removing the rounded corners, maybe doing some sifr to get a custom font for the post titles, etc...? not that gridalicious doesn't look good, it's just not very unique.

^gridalicious.
- bigtrick0
also, it would be nice if i could click the images on the main page to get to the individual post.

@schjetne
I understand that people might not want their work posted but there is no way that i will be able to contact every person before posting.
Every post has a link back the the photographers personal website so I dont think its much of a problem.
The whole idea behind the site is that its completely visually based. If you like something the link is provided and you can learn more on your own.

hi shitknee!
- dbloc0
the info/About/Advertising/Contact is a little bland...maybe throw a random image in there to spice it up..
- lumedia0
@bigtrick
You are absolutely right. I used G-A-L because it is trendy right now. I know that its not unique to you or I, but generally the target audience will have no clue what G-A-L is.
- Starwell990
Photos on first page should be clickable links.
- schjetne0
lumedia: It's just another simple step in your process.
1. Post
2. Send link in email to photographer

Can we get a list of sites that are using gridalicious?
