If you're in the least inclined to go, you should go. You'll have a blast. You'll be more popular this time. I promise.

yeah, i went to mine. There were a few people I really wanted to see - which was cool. Also, good to see what became of some of the others. ie. hot chicks getting fat, nerdy chicks getting hot, etc.
I think most of the people were a lot cooler than i remembered them, which made it a pretty fun time.

They planned ours. Only 11 out of maybe 400 people in our class registered for it. They canceled it due to low registration and because in my opinion:
1. It was going to be held a Holiday Inn Banquet room. Decor from the eighties
2. The Holiday inn is in a small town and isn't even in the county our school was in.
3. Tickets were 60 bucks each...No open bar!
They are planning on scheduling it in November. And it would be "more casual"...

We do ours every year the night before thanksgiving at a local bar. Saves us the trouble of having to rent a place/make it formal. Much more comfortable and if you don't really feel like going, you don't have to :D

Isn't the point of this whole exercise to rub your success in the faces of the past? I mean, behind the stated reasons of beers and "good times"? In my case it'd be too easy: half of the classes were-, and are, crackheads. Which is why I'm not going to bother getting on the plane over.

I went to mine and had a great time. I'd definitely go - maybe it depends on what the total group of graduates is like, but in my graduating class (about 300 - 400 I think) it seemed like everyone was friends with most people, or at least got along with most people.

mine was great. found myself talking to a dude that was a joke of our year. he's become really interesting (and then i got paranoid that i'd just gone the other way). nobody was talking themselves up and it was great to see how everyone was doing. as is the cliché it was the dudes that 'came out' who had changed considerably. one guy at school was heavily overweight but now was looking like a triathlete. made me consider coming out, for the fitness and it would be nice to finally have a man around the house.

Mine was fun. NONE of my friends showed up though. Most everyone has multiple kids, I have none and am single. Only one girl got fat, the others just had baby weight. The hottest girl in class was still stupid hot. I ended up making out with this mediocre girl who use to have a crush on me.

Mine happened this year, I had a lot of fun. It was an odd blend of maturity, awkwardness, nostalgia, love and curiosity.

Mine is this year. I guess I'll go... I dont have anything crazy to show off hahah not like I would anyway. I'm single and no kids. I think most people would expect me to have at least 2 bastard kids, I was known for hooking up with chicks...
anyway might be good to see some people from back in the day. Doesn't facebook kill the "I haven't see this person since high school vibe"? I mean most people from high school are on facebook. Also I still keep in contact with a decent number of people...
Its $90 bucks to go with no open bar... thats pricey no?

skipped mine. happened to be at a bar across the street that night though, and a few 'friends' came and found me, so that was ok. high school was one of the least important experiences i've had.

Looking forward to 20th.

i'm not sure i would go. some dude tried to organize a 5yr reunion, which i thought was super lame. i wasn't really friends with anyone except for my group so i don't see the point. i have 5 more years to think about it though...
- its going to feel like one year. hahah time just goes way to fast.sofakingbanned
- i know, college went by quick! im already 1 1/2 yrs out of college.studderine
