Is it possible to do this:
I have a website and I would like it to be in HTML/JQuery.
There would be a flash element in, for arguments sake, the corner of the window. That flash element would be a page curl and when you click on it a "screen shot" of what ever page you are on is taken and then flash takes over the screen by the page curl revealing what is underneath that webpage. so you can see a "behind the scenes" view.
Does that make sense?
so in essence I would need:
on click browser window turns to flash seemlessly and then reveals what ever is behind the page.

haven't tried it but you can try.
when you do flash embed on your html page.. make sure your wmode parameter is transparent.
with wmode=transparent flash object will always be on top of all divs in your html. Because you set your wmode to transparent you should see the underlying html ok so any action you do in flash to hide would show through the page.
If that doesn't work, you could always make your html "screenshot" as a JPG and put it in the div under the the flash div..
Either way you should try it.

I think this is possible, but not exactly as you described it... I think, the whole web page needs to be in Flash and you need to display the html page in Flash, this way you can use a jpg encoder script to print the page. This would cause problems using JQuery but you can write the page curl in AS as well.

You can create a page curl effect using jQuery:
