  the whole scrappage scheme is a clear example of the unsustainability of current economic model.

  i'm sure if aliens landed they would be confused about how most societies make money i.e. dig lots os stuff out of ground, use loads of energy and chemicals making it into something, sell it, have people use it for a short while and then chuck it back into the ground.

  I am more horrified than anyone, especially as it is my Dad's car. He had it ten years and to throw it away is insane. It has a new MOT. I would have bought it from him if he had asked me. I have a Morris Mini Cooper and me and my car will not be going anywhere near my Dad ever again!!!
