Hi Andrew..
just based on what you've mentioned thus far, this sounds a lot like the sort of thing we do a lot...
If the opportunity still exists, let me know...it might be something our company could help you with...
we've done realtime mapping apps for Google and a few others...
this is a small satellite site for some of our projects...

Thanks, Anthony. I know you're looking for work too, there's a good budget with this as it's federally funded. Agreed about the fine folks over there, the lead Scientist, Kamran Khan is a great guy. Extremely smart, but unlike most of the medical community, appreciates good design and never tells me how to do my job.
Any chance you could pick up Processing over the weekend? ;-)

Ahh... good old St. Mike's.
I can't offer much in the way of advice for what you're looking for, but I've worked with St. Mike's before. They've got some good folks there.Good luck. Hopefully your project turns out great.
- There's a lot of interest from all over the world. So the pressure is on, but I think the end result will be pretty cool/informative.Andrew_D

Thanks, neue! I found this guy in the Processing site Forums: http://twitter.com/sspboyd, http://friendfeed.com/sspboyd Stephen Boyd, but I'm not sure the extent of his abilities. I had to contact him through Flickr, so we'll see. He works at the CBC or something.
Might have to go out of country for this one .

Many moons ago I worked with this guy Steve, he headed up the technology side of this development company [Red Celsius or something like that, housing about 20 eastern european coders and probably now defunct] I know they were hardcore into J2E development [and a lot more that's well beyond me], not sure if you could try contacting him, his name was Steven Kiroff.. I have no details for him, but you could try googling him..
good luck..
- I think he's still in Toronto, not sure though..neue75_bold

I wish I could work with scientists... I have no idea what to make of this jargon! javax.servlet.ServletException: Class `Artic' was not found in classpath.
Classes normally belong in /WEB-INF/classes.

Hi,
I've been working on a project with scientists from the Ministry of Health/St. Michael's Hospital for the past year (http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/Artic... and we're now looking to write a program that can visualize the collected data in real time.
Email me for more info(in my profile) if you're interested.
