Like bills, coins etc? I use mostly debit cards and its pretty damn weird now that I think of it.
An article to further illustrate.

I usually keep a small amount on me for coffee etc. Or if I'm heading to a bar I'll usually bring money. But otherwise my debit card gets used heavily.

Its almost an inconvenience to have notes and coins. My new wallet that I'm about to order is a card holder.
Everything is based on credit nowadays, I mostly buy via computer or "swipe your card here" style.I thought about it yesterday though, there is a record on almost every transaction I make. Which makes me feel odd.
do you think that Is good or bad?

"there is a record on almost every transaction I make"
for certain transactions cash will always be used ;)

what if you're buying a can of soda? you're going to go to a drugstore and have people wait on you
- Is this an argument for or against cash? Cashiers are slow it's quicker to swipe.voiceof

if you're not spending cash you must not have any illegal vices

I'm always a little taken back when I see somebody pull out cash, even more so when I see someone write a check.
But, when I do use case (which is rare) I appreciate the exchange of tangible items that keeps you aware that you're going broke. You can almost envision you're little pile getting smaller.

Mostly debit, and carry no more than $20 unless I'm going to a club or buying drugs.

What will happen to all those charity boxes once change/money no longer exists.

I just thought of that new RFID enabled credit card that you just tap to the swipe thingy and it automatically does the transaction. no swiping.
How long before the RFID thing is in your hand or elsewhere in your body.

I stopped carrying cash when I got fucking robbed at gunpoint for the 2nd time. Yes, I know, buy a gun and all that, but I don't think I'm the type of person who needs to be carrying around a gun.
- buying a gun won't prevent someone else from pulling one on yousikma

I use cash for mostly everything, unless ordering something online. My cousin had 2 grand stolen from him by an employee at a restaurant for leaving his card at the bar for a tab. Something to think about.
- how does something like that happen?sherm
- card number, name and the three digit number off the back. GIve me yours and I will show you.DrBombay
- Things would be worse if you lost $2000 in cash. You're not getting that back.kgvs72
- can't he argue a charge like that? and why didn't the credit company flag it?7point34
- WTF carries 2 grand cash on them? My cuz's shit happened over the course of 2 weeks.DrBombay
