The werewolf uses ancient arcane lore
to summon from the dead the knights of yore.
He calls the heroes with his magic charm
to undo the spells that have caused him harm.

Sorcerers defeated him with their spell,
and he was transformed to this shape from hell.
To break the evil spell and end his woes,
He needs to wear the skulls of all his foes.

I don't think Internet grammar does destroy brains or anything -> although I reckon there's a definite link between vocabulary and ability to think. The desire to express thought through language is an instinct; and language is what separates us from most other kinds of animal. Might be worth reading stuff by Noam Chomsky if you're interested in this idea.
Without words we can't have thought .. being able to specify concepts through words more precisely is useful. If you breakdown spellings and grammar too much then legibility and comprehension becomes a problem.. but in the English language there are a lot of very dumb rules and peculiarities which serve no purpose other than to discriminate against those who've been taught the rules, and those who haven't.
If anything, internet grammar is democratising; although unfortunately most people who use it have nowt useful to say.

I think any kid growing up right now or in the past few years will undoubtedly read far more internet based content than physical.
Basically if you are kid and you are bored you are going to surf the net, not read a book. There will obviously be exceptions.
Or let's say you are just used to reading things 3 paragraphs at a time - as opposed to sitting down with a book for an hour a day - I believe this could affect the way you speak and think.
I am looking for well done articles on any such thing.
- i saw a study that said texting bad spelling and grammer improves some brain function, forces to think morePupsipu
