Sadly you'll need to install Silverlight to view this brilliant series, but I'll forgive Mr Gates for this transgression as he's very kindly bought the entire rights to show to all us plebs for free.
If you're in anyway into science, or just into listening to truly inspiring people, give it a go.

ummm... so what are they all about?
- Science. Physics, particularly.
You don't know who Feynman is?detritus - I'm sure there is more than one Feynman...Amicus
- not into physics so why would i?ckentish
- I couldn't care less, ckentish.detritus
- There's more than one Hitler too, but I'd like to think you'd know who he was?detritus
- have the particles made you a bit tetchy - perhaps you should take a long hot bath - eureka!ckentish

Just finished watching the first one - I reckon anyone with half a wit could watch that a couple of times, expand a little background on wikipaedia (or try the links offered in the Tuva interface, which I didn't really try) and come away with a pretty fulsome understanding of physics.
Like nilsnihil says, Feymnan's a really engaging smart guy - like your best teacher was at school, someone full of knowledge he's hungry to share.
If you can't be bothered with investing a whole hour upfront, have a dig through YouTube for some shorter pieces to whet your appetite.
The ones from this series are good..

I had heard of Feynman, but I'm more interested in memorising the thoughts than who had them - my brain isn't really big enough for both.

it should be noted that i have never so much as opened a physics book. don't know a single thing about it. i took pre-calculus in highschool and it made my eyes go crossed. upper-level math is not my thing
- 'mathS'kelpie
- Watch this then. I never 'got' physics at school - hated it. Same with math. I regret now.detritus
- HAHAHAHAHA as i typed that i wondered if you would comment7point34
- lol, i wrote MATH before seeing kelpie's response - i have this argument with a best friend - i drop the Sdetritus

oh wow, i watched that youtube and thats what it was like when i smoked that salvia+dmt cocktail, like the whole fabric of the universe disintegrated and i saw it maaaan, what he's talking about, i SAW it.
- You are, I predict, actually composed of these very particles, Khurram.mikotondria3
