Turkish Student Build Hydrogen Vehicle That Gets 1,336 mpg.
Meanwhile in America: GM, Ford, Chrysler continually build junk that: rust, fall apart, and get an amazing 11 mpg.
God Bless: Exxon/Mobile and Iraq!

The way you phrased that is hilarious. It just sounds really...how shall I say...stupid. You took a reasonably interesting story and somehow turned it into a political anti-american industry rant. Brilliant.

there was a dude that fixed HUGE trucks and SUVs. he modify the engine and they put bio diesel. now, they got better gas miles then a toyota prius. he was even working on the governator jeep.
he said he used 80% GM parts and they can do it too but they don't want too. there you have it.

Yes, 1336mpg for a 260lb car. Add a driver, passenger, a bag of groceries, and see how you do.
- still a hell of a lot better than the currently available models.Amicus
- well the point is that 1336mpg isn't even close to attainable in a real life scenario. not possible even at 100% efficiency.monNom
- 100% efficiency. (not at any useful speed anyhow)monNom
- current cars do pretty well considering all the weight they have to move. (due to safety and enviro regs)monNom

It's fantastic that people are experimenting with these technologies, however I don't think that car would be very safe.
Apart from the obvious Hindenburg style explosion and fires, there doesn't seem to be any safety cell, firewall, and I'm doubtful there is ESC or any airbags either. That would probably double the weight and halve the mileage.
Still, even a quarter of that mileage would beat the pants of anything the auto makers are putting out. (Except for the pure Electrics with extremely short ranges)
