Some days you ride the pony. Other days the pony rides you. Those aren't good days.
- for you or the pony.airey
- The pony always has good days. That's why people want to rideTheBlueOne

I always thought this kid was some kind of trustafarian and wondered if nepotism got him in the press. I mean his poloroids were kinda cool in a low brow sort of way. But the other stuff was pretty wack.

"Dash Snow died last night of a heroin overdose, and the report has been confirmed in the New York Times by his grandmother, the collector and philanthropist Christophe de Menil."
yeah he got lucky

good riddance?

people will scorn you for celebrating the death of others so just do as everybody else does and keep those feelings inside.

Dash "Sacer" Snow will be missed by me. Awesome guy. Inspired me as a youngster. Amazing graffiti writer, super nice guy, beautiful person. Horrible way to go out.
Much love from me.

that's a Dash Original btw... NSFW... but it's (art).

I won't comment on his art as it's largely self expression and opinion based... but when you have a daughter... stop doing fucking drugs!! It makes me more angry that he did that to his kid than feeling sorry for him in death. As a parent you have more responsibility than yourself asshole!

I've never been a big fan of that Snow, Colen, McGinley crew, and of all of them, Snow was definitely the one who's work felt most insignificant. I don't doubt that he was a free spirit creative thinker, and a father at that, and those types are always missed.
NYMagazine article from a couple years ago gives good background on him/them: http://nymag.com/arts/art/profil…

I'm anything but anti-drugs, but if someone dies from drugs, I'm not going to bother mourning their passing.
I merely hope he enjoyed it.

ahh an artist on heroin. viva la cliché. shame he died though, especially for the family.

I read this this morning, which I thought was infinitely more poignant.

never heard of him, but that "downtown" NY art scene hasn't been happening for many years.
