After electricity and bandwidth, what are Google's biggest expenses?
When will they begin charging for their services?
Or will they charge only corporate accounts?

google makes most of its revenue off of advertising. the rest is gravy = name recognition, being the defacto search engine, etc...

i'm sure they make some mean cash with corporate licenses and services yes? they're organizing the worlds information ffs there's more to it than ads.

I was thinking storage, and App engine is charging for processor time if I'm not mistaken.
I have noticed that if you want to upgrade the 1Gb of your Picasa Web Albums, it merges the space with your Gmail account.

rent. office supplies. taxes. insurance. etc etc etc - i doubt they will ever charge for base services like maps and searching. it'd be like shooting themselves in the foot.
