I don't mean to be a dick but this is why you research before you buy. If you would you would have found that all of Apples notebooks and most notebooks on the market use 6bit screens which dither to reach millions of colors. Apples site says it "supports millions of colors". This is misleading yes, but it is not necessarily a lie. A simple google search on LCD laptop screens brings up a ton of info.
And honestly, what serious designer, video or film maker, photographer or otherwise uses a 13" laptop monitor to check colors???? I mean get a real monitor and hook it up. You won't see the big boys hunched over their 13" screens. Come on.
