Finally Blurb is printing from PDF's. With templates for indesign available to download from their website. Gladly no more exporting as jpgs!

I sound like I am selling it, I haven't tried it. Just got an email about it and thought I would share.

I've been planning on using this service for a while, is the quality all it's cracked up to be?

I've heard from other people that the quality isnt all that great. Sometimes you get wrinkled pages and stuff but none the less, being able to lay it out in ID is cool. I may print one as a test.

What decent alternatives are there to Blurb?
Any good UK / EU ones?

Asuka are considered the highest of the high books. As are their prices.
http://asukabook.com/I got one through Blurb, and was pretty happy with it. I needed custom designs so I had to load everything as either a jpg or a png, so the compression on top of compression wasn't perfect. But I've sold 20 books so far. It was better than I thought it'd be. If there are any wrinkled pages, or ink splotches as I had, they will replace free of charge.
