I'm sitting in the jury duty room in Manhattan (111 Center st).

It's actually pretty amazing. Wifi. Office room. Cnn. Not totally mad about being here. Getting lots of stuff done.

Start fapping, and when questioned simply state "I'm just here to do my civic duty."

Even better, take a poop on the floor in front of everyone say, "I did a Civic Doody!"

Whenever I"m there I pretend I'm in a Law & Order episode and say things like "Jack's not going to like this..." out loud to nobody in particular.

Haha. Funny. This thread went in a totally different direction than I had planned.

I was going for two things.

    1. To inform people that there's WIFI here and that you can do work.

    2. Hoping to see a response that read, "I'm here too!!! Where are you sitting???"

    • maybe they should cut back on some of this shit so we don't have to get rid of libraries...rodzilla

For doing something as unpalatable as Jury Duty in a city like NY they actually do make it all rather pleasant, just saying from personal experience as well.

aye, I was there a couple months ago. was called into the first room, did my interview thing with the judge and wasn't picked. instead of making me come in and sit around for 2 more days they said I had done my time and could go.

I'm a juror on a trial at the moment. Jury duty (selection) started Monday, March 15th, and I was selected. Now I'm looking at over a week in court. 60 Centre St in NYC.

While there is WiFi, the 20 minute breaks every hour don't give me much time to a) get work done, or b) dick around on QBN.

So, if QBN seems boring this week—and part of next—I apologize. I will be back in full swing soon enough.

    • I had jury duty this week also in St. Louis. Didn't get selected though. Hope your case is at least interesting.duckofrubber

I had to go in for Federal Grand Jury a few months ago. For those of you who aren't familiar with that, it's and 18 month term. 3-5 days every 4-6 weeks.

Wasn't selected, as I'm trying to move out of state.

    • i was selected to serve for Supreme Grand Jury.. but in the end it was settled out..e-pill1/4
settled out of court, so every juror was now exempt to serve for the next 8 years..e-pill2/4
i will not be summoned for 8 years w00t w00t!! and i never even served..e-pill3/4
lucky - when i get to NY i'll probably be summoned.bulletfactory4/4

ArmandoEstrada.. if you are smart, you can set up a mini gang of your friends and get rid of the buildings that have the information of you from the govt servers like it was done in fight club..

it can be your way out.. otherwise, you are fucked!!

    @ MonoSpaced...

Thanks, I must redo my site, i dislike it, (just used out the can Flash script). I havent shot anything is ages (i keep working on others websites sites and photo shoots). Thank you for the inspiration, I will get out and shoot some more.

Back to topic, I know they give you the scare tactics and all, i have never missed jury duty, but they have no way on verifying I got this letter. Has anyone actually skipped out before?
