I hope Tim Burton realized that his last movies weren't as good as the early ones and strived to make this his masterpiece. If not it would be a terrible shame.
BTW is Danny Elfman doing the music? I would imagine so...

Looks visually stunning like all of Burton's work. I look forward to seeing it.

burton's movies are like a dessert that's too rich. They're overkill.

i've read the script, it's good but not stellar
of course it's a hollywood version of the brilliance that is lewis carroll. no new wordplay or anything, the characters are just reused as typical movie archetypes
i feel like the world is post-burton now though; his stuff is no longer edgy, it's just kind of predictable.
gorgeous pre-vis stuff though

you think Tim Burton is on drugs? you think?

Yet again, I'm not impressed.
The concept art is beautful, no doubt, but I'm not seeing a huge leap from the Mary Blair genius (Alice is even in a blue dress). Does he have a contract with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter? Are they really the ideal actors for these roles? Do all of the more intimate scenes have to look like they're shot on a sound stage?
Add to that my concern that Burton will supply us with another visually stunning yet totally uninspiring and poorly written re-work of a classic (Sleepy Hollow, Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman, etc.), and I'm rather non-plused.
But hey, congrats to the concept designers. Solid work as usual.
- i think she's in a blue dress because it's still a disney property like the original animated filmscarabin
- it's branding in a wayscarabin
- Then explain the different designs for the rest of the characters. Esp. Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dee/Dum & Mat Hatter.luckyorphan

One thing is certain—if this movie has any retarded fucking music in it like that piece of fucking shit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then I will never watch another Tim Burton movie in my life.
