Hey guys, I've just finish a new page to show my latest work. I'm looking for a new job here in Sydney as an digital art director. Any help is very welcome... cheers

love the timeline!

timeline is the best part. Would be good if I could see the work on it.
The work itself, a lot of it has JPG artifacts, the JPG compression seems too low.

nice, i almost smacked the 'email me' icon with a fly swatter

Great idea on the timeline. You have some nice projects in there. The only thing I don't really care for is the tilt/shift, out of focus, screen shots. It takes away from the work.

i really like it.

Some pretty nice work and def looks OK overall, but everyone else was nice so I'll be mean.
Not a big fan of the font choices there. The comic book style type in the timeline and the lo-fi type with mixed upper and lower case don't mix too well IMHO.
Overall layout of the page feels unstructured. The indentation with the titles just floating out there to the left. And the way you centered the awards under the other live text.
Overall I think it could be great if you used less fonts, and maybe keep the timeline on its own (intro?) page for more effect.
- < this guy again. he wishes the world only used emigre's remedy font and nothing else.airey
- -1 for the last part (I like it where it is). The rest I can agree with for the most part.ismith
- between that and his stance on homosexual rabbits i don't trust the dude.airey
- hey ukit, i left you a note in the chuck norris thread.airey
- haha what?ismith
- actually i mean the dave matthews thread.airey

awesome guys, really appreciate the feedback, the initial idea was to use the timeline by itself with some links to work, etc. although I'm using this page to find a new job so I thought wasn't a good idea to make it so minimal. and the fonts, well, i love fonts...

I like it a lot. I don't love the stalker email icon- too pushy! The faux depth of field trick on the work imagery is ok by me- a little trendy but whatever. This could totally be built out w/ interior pages in the future, for more depth, info, etc.
Overall it has a fun personality and stands out from a lot of rigid, Modernist design portfolio sites.

to be honest for an "Digital Art Director" of saachi, i kinda expected something bit more wow

I like your work samples and general style of the site, although the big problem I had with it which nobody else has picked up on yet is the kerning within the welcome section. It looks sloppy and as its the first thing we are greeted with on the site I think some people may be put off by it initially.

Not too keen on the Cape Arcona "Texas funeral" typeface just because it's so wonky and the rest of the site doesn't go with it's wonkiness. It's particularly wonky in the intro paragraph. I like the word wonky.

Nice work, but have you won any awards???

time line is excellent.
i really dislike the typeface being used here.
i wish i could visit some of those sites.

There is something wrong with your lightbox. When I go to click on another image the old one first appears for a couple seconds, then switches to new one.

yes very nice overall, the fonts are just killing me though i literally read your name as renat o lot fi in the first paragraph, just don't use that font in copy, in headers i don't mind it.
